You Should Know

RYLEEBLAKE

I was honored to be tagged by Michelle Cope in this "things you should know about me" blog. I think all of the questions are fun and unique so here I go.

1. What is your favorite beauty product and/or routine?
I would have to say eyelash extensions kill it for me right now. I got them for the first time for my wedding and now I feel like I can't live without them. I hardly wear any makeup (which may be a bad thing) and I look pretty good (at least to me;) The lady I go to does it from her home so she is only $50 for a full set and $35 for a fill! Less than half the price at the salons that I checked out which range from $90-$125. Usually salons take between 40-70% of the price so the stylist or esthetician gets about the same amount but you pay twice as much. Just a quick tip from my salon years I thought I would share. This pic is 3 weeks out from when I got them and they are still pretty thick.

2. What is your most favorite place that you have visited in the world and why?

Hands down Italy is the most beautiful dreamy place I have ever been. I went on a study abroad studying art history in Italia and now it owns a piece of my heart. It was such a dream and so full of culture. My favorite places there were. Rome: Colosseum and the Forum. Florence:  Gallery Borghese with the most amazing Bernini sculptures I have ever seen, I think he beats Michelangelo with his fine detail for sure. And Michelangelo's home. Such an amazing experience to walk through his house where he was a young artist. Venice: My favorite thing in Venice was the gondola ride. It is just like the movies and you feel like a princess. Its beautiful to see the bridges and the architecture from a little boat.

3. Why do you blog? and what inspires you to keep blogging?

I blog because I look at it like a sketchbook/journal for me. I love how I can put inspiration, feelings, and pictures of my life and what drives me all on one searchable site. Its so much fun.

4. What is the quality that you love best about your significant other, and why?
What I love about Tyler is his thoughtfulness. He is always so considerate of my feelings and needs. He makes lunch for me and gets me drinks before bed. He tells me how pretty I am and how talented and special I am...he makes me cry because I am so happy to be with such a sweet person for the rest of eternity.

5. Guilty pleasures??

Fruit snacks and spotify. Its more of an addiction, I can eat a whole box of the western family shark fruit snacks in one sitting and it wont even phase me. Spotify is probably my other companion besides Ty, I am listening to it about 12+ hours a day. I really couldn't live without it and I love how its unlimited only 10 bucks a month, no commercials, I can get it from my phone or anywhere. Seriously I love it.

6. What physical feature do you love most about yourself and why?--Don't be afraid to gloat a little! Embrace what you have and love it :)

I love my hair, its long and pretty thick and curls really fast and easy. I like that I can do any do and it looks pretty good because of the consistency of it. Yay for long hair!

7.Take a quick picture of what you are wearing-- and tell us what you love about your outfit!

I am feelin tropical lately so I wanted to wear something fun this morning with a long skirt because its so cold at work. Sandals helped me look summery and cute even though my long pleated skirt could be a bit heavy. I think the colorful top is so fun and 80's. Lately I have been listening to Madonna's old music and this top is my tribute to her.

8. Do you cook? If so, share your favorite recipe!

I do cook but haven't for a LONG time. I am getting back in the swing of things and one of my favorite easy recipes is Swiss Cheese Chicken.

WHAT YOU NEED:
- Chicken
- 1 box of stove top stuffing (chicken)
- Sliced Swiss cheese
- 1 can of cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup of melted butter

Pretty much the easiest thing on the planet and so darn delicious.Put the Chicken in the pan, make sure its not frozen. Pour the cream of chicken soup over the top, then place Swiss cheese slices on top, then put the stove top all over it. Then dump the melted butter on top (you may need a little more) it doesn't have to touch every piece or be totally covered just sparatically. Then you bake at 350 for 1 hour. Then its done and delicious!
