Last night I watched another art documentary and this one was very close to my heart. On my art history study abroad to Italy I fell in love with not only the art there but the culture and people of Europe. This documentary is about Hitlers plan to steel the worlds finest art while plundering their countries and killing millions of innocent people. I had no idea that Hitler applied for the Art Academy the same time as Egon Schiele and Gustav Klimt, and was declined. Most of the judges were Jewish and apparently thats what stemmed his hate for them. Both of the other artists became very famous. I have always loved Gustav's The Kiss.
