I have been waiting for years!!!! for the Hobbit to come out and so of course I had tickets to the first showing available. JRR Tolkien is such an amazing writer and the knowledge he had to create a realistic world is talent one could only dream of.
My honest opinion of the movie wasn't that great. I liked it, and it was a good story but it doesn't compare to the Lord of the Rings. I don't feel like he put the care and attention to detail that he did for LOTR. But overall I liked it and had a fun time so I guess thats good enough.
