This is NY Interior design to me. Its a mix of very folk raw materials but also very modern. Tons of nicknacks and little things like animals and string but not cluttered and very simple. Color palate is muted and furniture is usually very industrial with a touch of antique. I went to the Brooklyn Flea again and noticed how many booths had animal heads and old cigar boxes and stamps and things you would probably find in Daniel Boons (fur trapper) wilderness cabin.
